Description

A no-bake, vegan-friendly dessert combining the rich flavors of strong coffee and creamy coconut, perfect for impressing guests or indulging yourself.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups brewed strong coffee
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon agar-agar powder
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine the agar-agar powder with water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Add the sugar and brewed coffee, stirring to combine all flavors.
  3. Pour half of the coffee mixture into a mold and set in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat the coconut cream with remaining sugar until dissolved.
  5. Carefully pour the coconut mixture over the set coffee jelly and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  6. Pour the remaining coffee mixture on top and let it set for about 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. Use gelatin instead of agar-agar if preferred.
