- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine the sourdough starter, water, and salt in a large bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Gradually stir in the flour until a shaggy dough begins to form.
- Dust your countertop with flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and soft.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 4-5 hours or until it has doubled in size.
- Gently deflate the dough and shape it into a round loaf. Place on a floured baking sheet.
- Let the loaf rise for another 2-3 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Score the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing.
