Description

A heartwarming breakfast casserole filled with turkey sausage, ham, and crispy hashbrowns, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups hashbrowns, thawed
  • 1 cup turkey sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ham, diced (or turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Spread the hashbrowns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the turkey sausage, ham (or turkey bacon), and half of the cheese. Spread this mixture over the hashbrowns.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the casserole.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Prepare the casserole the night before for a hassle-free breakfast. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
