Ingredients

- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup peas
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened and golden brown.
- Toss in the ground beef, cooking until browned and breaking it up with a spatula.
- Drain any excess fat from the beef.
- Stir in the rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, and peas.
- Season with salt and pepper, stirring to combine.
- Bring to a gentle boil, then cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
