Description

Easy no-bake Irish Cream Oreo truffles that are rich, creamy, and perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur (or non-alcoholic cream)
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: Cocoa powder or crushed Oreos for dusting

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Start by placing your Oreo cookies in a food processor. Pulse them until fine crumbs form — the finer, the better!
  2. Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the Irish cream liqueur. Mix everything together until you get a well-combined, sticky texture.
  3. Roll Into Balls: Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into delightful little balls. Set them aside on a plate.
  4. Chill: Place the truffle balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is melted and smooth.
  6. Dip the Truffles: Once chilled, dip each truffle into the melted chocolate using a fork. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing them back on the baking sheet.
  7. Add Optional Dusting: If desired, dust your truffles with cocoa powder or crushed Oreos while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Final Chill: Refrigerate again until the chocolate hardens completely.
  9. Serve and Enjoy!

Notes

These truffles can be made a day or two in advance. Store in an airtight container for maximum freshness.
