- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant and the onion turns translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the shredded cabbage and cook until it wilts down and becomes tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drizzle in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, and grated ginger. Sprinkle black pepper and salt to taste, then stir well and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and top with freshly chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy the cozy flavors.
