- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
- Stir well until all ingredients are mixed evenly.
- Add salt to taste.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Enjoy as a dip with vegetables or pita, or as a sauce with proteins.
Notes
Tzatziki keeps well in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can also experiment with flavors by adding lemon zest, cayenne pepper, or even avocado.
