Description

A creamy and refreshing tzatziki sauce made with Greek yogurt and fresh herbs, perfect for dipping or as a sauce over proteins.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped dill, lemon juice, and minced garlic.
  2. Stir well until all ingredients are mixed evenly.
  3. Add salt to taste.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Enjoy as a dip with vegetables or pita, or as a sauce with proteins.

Notes

Tzatziki keeps well in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can also experiment with flavors by adding lemon zest, cayenne pepper, or even avocado.
