A delightful blend of ripe bananas and warm cinnamon, this Easy Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread is perfect for breakfast or as an indulgent snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Cream cheese frosting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the bananas.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix just until incorporated.
  6. Gently fold in the flour, mixing until just combined.
  7. Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl to create the swirl.
  8. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the loaf pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  9. Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  10. Use a knife to swirl the batter gently for the cinnamon roll effect.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  13. Drizzle with cream cheese frosting if desired.
