- 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the bananas.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, and mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix just until incorporated.
- Gently fold in the flour, mixing until just combined.
- Mix the cinnamon and brown sugar in a small bowl to create the swirl.
- Pour half of the banana bread batter into the loaf pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Top with the remaining batter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Use a knife to swirl the batter gently for the cinnamon roll effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Drizzle with cream cheese frosting if desired.
