Description

A delightful no-bake dessert with layers of pound cake, vanilla pudding, and fresh mixed berries, perfect for Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound cake or ladyfingers
  • 2 cups of fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup of vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pound cake by slicing it into cubes or, if you prefer, use ladyfingers for a light and airy texture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form, creating a fluffy cloud of deliciousness.
  3. In a trifle dish, layer half of the cake pieces at the bottom, creating a cozy base for your trifle.
  4. Add a layer of fresh mixed berries on top of the cake, allowing the colors to shine through.
  5. Spoon half of the velvety vanilla pudding over the berries, filling in the gaps with creamy goodness.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, more berries, and the rest of the pudding, building towards the sky.
  7. Top with the whipped cream, and feel free to pile on additional berries and mint leaves for a pop of color if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving to let all those lovely flavors meld together.
