Description

A warm, creamy slow-cooked dish featuring boneless chicken breasts in a luscious sauce served over angel hair pasta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot, covering it completely.
  4. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the sauce.
  7. Serve the chicken mixture over the cooked pasta, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley.
