Description

A delightful twist on classic meatballs with a sticky, flavorful sauce and nutritious broccoli, perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, chopped green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Lay the meatballs and broccoli florets on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Combine the hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until thickened.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over the meatballs and broccoli.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
