- 2 cups shredded chicken
- 1 can (10.5 oz) creamy soup (cream of chicken or your favorite alternative)
- 1 cup spicy salsa (choose your heat level)
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 3 cups crunchy tortilla chips
- Sour cream (for topping)
- Diced tomatoes (for topping)
- Fresh cilantro (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken, creamy soup, salsa, and green chilies in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
- Layer half of the tortilla chips on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Spread half of the chicken mixture over the tortilla chips, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining tortilla chips and chicken mixture, finishing with a layer of the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the casserole is golden, hot, and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings like sour cream, diced tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
