Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar mixed with 1 tablespoon cinnamon for topping
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl until fully combined.
  3. Toss the bread cubes into the egg mixture, ensuring every piece is soaked.
  4. Divide the mixture evenly among the muffin cups, filling them almost to the top. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping generously over each muffin.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are beautifully golden brown.
