- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk (for vanilla glaze)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the milk and egg in another bowl until well combined and creamy.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apples.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until ready.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters and serve immediately.
