Description

Delicious bars that combine creamy cheesecake with chocolate chip cookie dough for the perfect cozy treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Place the cookie dough in the freezer for a few hours.
  3. Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
  4. Set one large egg out until it reaches room temperature.
  5. Line a 13×9″ pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil.
  6. Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4″ slices and place them in the bottom of the lined pan.
  7. Press the dough down firmly to form a crust.
  8. Pop the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Beat together the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla using an electric mixer on medium speed.
  10. Spread the cheesecake batter evenly over the baked crust.
  11. Slice the remaining cookie dough and place it on top of the cheesecake layer.
  12. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes.
  13. Cool completely before refrigerating.
  14. Slice into bars, serve, and enjoy.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance; they’ll taste even better after chilling!
