- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (red, green, and yellow)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, toss in the sliced onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry until tender yet crisp, about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet, sprinkle in the minced garlic, and mix until heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, allowing flavors to marry.
- Serve hot over cooked rice.
Notes
For added flavor, cook rice in broth and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
