- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until soft and translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
- Stir in the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown.
- Add the diced tomatoes, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve garnished with fresh cilantro over rice or alongside naan.
