Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until soft and translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, garam masala, turmeric, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and allow it to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve garnished with fresh cilantro over rice or alongside naan.
